Ich hab' in Berlin verlort!

In unserem Deutschkurs haben wir berühmte Orte in Berlin erörtert. Sie sind sehr schön! These places are:

das Bundeskanzleramt
das Bundeswaschmaschine
das Elefantenklo

der Fernsehturm am Alexanderplatz

das Sony Center auf dem Potsdamer Platz

das Haus der Kulturen der Welt

Unter den Linden

die Staatsoper Unter den Linden

die Humboldt-Universität

der Reichstag

In the same chapter, we also discussed asking for and giving directions in German. The first time we discussed it, I TOTALLY GOT LOST IN BERLIN. XD I kept on mixing words that actually made no sense. Haha... Fortunately, I was able to "find my way back" when we discussed it again. The activity done with a partner, the list of phrases which can be used to ask and give directions, and the discussion about the prepositions in, durch, über, zu, and am... vorbei really helped a lot.

Meine Visitenkarte

Last Dienstag, eine Hausaufgabe was given by Frau Arroyo. Die Hausaufgabe was to make eine Visitenkarte. I actually thought it was for Mittwoch but I was absent on that day to finish/cram my take home exam for a major subject XD so I wasn't able to bring them on Donnerstag. Because of that, I wasn't able to actively participate in the activity with the real Germans. :-( But it's okay because it was really fun. By the way, here's meine Visitenkarte. --- Denglisch, haha

(Since I posted this one online and others might see it, I would just like to note that I am not connected to Institut für Sozialforschung and Goethe Universität in any way. This Visitenkarte was just used for an in-class activity.)
