der ReichstagIn the same chapter, we also discussed asking for and giving directions in German. The first time we discussed it, I TOTALLY GOT LOST IN BERLIN. XD I kept on mixing words that actually made no sense. Haha... Fortunately, I was able to "find my way back" when we discussed it again. The activity done with a partner, the list of phrases which can be used to ask and give directions, and the discussion about the prepositions in, durch, über, zu, and am... vorbei really helped a lot.
Haha. In German you would say, "Ich hab' mich verlaufen." - which is to have lost your way on foot. But in your case you would have to say, "Ich hab' mich versprechen." - which is to make a slip of the tongue. :)
